1) he made mistakes against both OSU and Baylor late in the game. And these are arguably the best 2 teams in the conference. Of course, gotta be "in the game" in the first place for a late mistake to hurt you. we don't have another QB who would have had us in the game against either OSU or BU.

2) Bad coaching? I think in every single post-game interview, Snyder is quoted as saying the coaching has blown. As recently as Baylor, he said "I think I made some bad choices certainly that had a lot to do with [why we didn't play well]."

3) Sams is accountable. If Sams was 2-4 against NDSU, KU, ISU, TCU, I'd be singing a different tune. As it were, he didn't play against NDSU or UT, and had us on the cusp of beating both OSU and BU.

So, the real question should be, why hasn't Waters won games for us. And at the end of the OSU and Baylor games, why was he on the sidelines?

first question-bad defense, we played really good teams, two best weapons on offense and special teams were hurt, has never played qb this much in his entire life (still getting comfortable w/ the position.)
