Name on the uniform affects perception of humans.  Crazy idea, I know.  But I guess that is why companies spend zillions on branding and marketing.  Ut doesn't need to pay the refs; they have espn.  It is human nature; it is why home teams get more calls; the perception of events is skewed by the narrative the brain has been fed.

The ruling of forward progress could only be reviewed if they replay saw the runner broke the plane for a TD. Is that what they reviewed?

If they ruled down by contact, then it should have and looks like it should have been reversed because there was a clear recovery.

From everything I see on highlights, It looks like a Texas fumble. If the officials ruled forward progress, it should not have been reviewed

In case you haven't noticed, our school/alumni/students are much more like isu than ut.  Except for flooding.  On flooding we match up better with ut.

When he says "most kstaters" he means all of the rubes on GPC who like ISU because they're farmers and hate UT because they're dim libs. These are the same people who used to stay in their seats for the A&M band.

Fact on both.  Farmers as opposed to oil trust fund babies.

I agree with high expectations; that is the best thing about this board.  But that doesn't mean you have to reject farming.  Farmers can win.

I think its simply a case of the official misspeaking. He should have said forward progress was stopped instead of down by contact. That being said I just saw another replay and before Gray gets stripped just as he entered the pile his knee gets very close to the ground. So if they are ruling he was down there, fine I guess but that would have put the spot a yard further back than it was. Dunno?

Either way I'm guessing any mistake won't be on the replay official but on what the white hat told the replay official they called. If the white hat told the replay official down by contact and meant it that replay official should be fired.
