Uhh, no, ULL isn't going to be a pushover. I've said since April that this Cajuns team will be the most difficult team we play in the non-conference. If we play like we did last night the Cajuns will most surely beat us. I wish Sams would have seen the ball more last night.

Best team in Sun Belt
We currently own a losing streak to them thanks to incredibly shitty QB play in 2009
They have a run game QB named Terrance Broadway that averaged 6.2 yards per carry
Wildly athletic defense and a stud young head coach that lets the players dance
They play at Arkansas 3 PM today

After they beat Arkansas today, ULL is going to come to Manhattan with a ton of confidence next week. Someone else in this thread already said it, but ULL is probably the best team on our noncon slate.

ULL is a much better team that NDSU. They apparently have better talent than we do and if we don't control the ball and the clock then we are going to lose just like we lost last night.

I think we can beat them, but it's going to take a good game plan and we are definitely going to have to control the clock with our offense. We need to limit the time our defense sees the field to about 20-25 minutes tops.

Look at it this way, in the awful 2004 we did beat a good 1-AA in Western KY and beat Louisiana Lafayette, two less wins right there.

We have umass and wvu. Then games like ku and isu as toss ups. The rest are losses.

Guys, Bill's teams always show the most improvement from week 1 to week 2. We will beat ULL and wonder why we ever thought we wouldn't. Coach Hays is in the film room right now just figuring out how to stop this high powered ragin cajun offense and I wouldn't bet against him.
