Jesus eff guys, I hate to read goEMAW after we lose. Looks and sounds like most of you cry babies would disown your momma if she so much as farted in church. Come on, grow some balls. Be proud of our coaches and team; we are KSU fans, right?
By the way, I think the game was a typical Snyder first game. It's a scrimmage in his mind and he didn't give much eff about it. He looking to see which players can play with over fifty thousand fans cheering and jeering. Next week we will kick the living crap out of a shitty Sun Belt team.
After the win, most of us will jump on the bandwagon; and of course, some will go into hiding only waiting to strike when we're down.
No, actually this wasn't a typical LHC Bill Snyder first game because he lost. He's won every single opener since Arizona St. in 1989, but I'm sure you knew that cause you're a huge KSU fan, right?
There is no bandwagon. There is no hiding. This team is dogshit. They are dogshit because their one alleged strength on the team (OL) couldn't handle "different looks" that an FCS team gave. They are dogshit because our coaches still believe we've got a 6'5" running QB back there. They are dogshit because their weaknesses (def front 7) were really rough ridin' weak. I can't imagine how slow it must take Blake Slaughter and Tre Walker to run to the bathroom; they must piss themselves constantly. I mean, did you watch that? We didn't just struggle offensively (like against EKU), out entire rough ridin' team struggled, from out coaches to our defense, to our offense. And we weren't vanilla. There was no holding back. We were running all kinds of crap at them offensively and trying like hell to blitz them defensively.
Sure, this team could get better. I'd like to think that the OL won't play like it's a flag football game. And maybe if Sams gets back there we might stumble into a running game (which might eat more of the clock to put our shitty defense on the field less). But beyond that? we're talking marginal improvement at best with our front 7 because of physical limitations.
Do none of you remember what 2004 looked like?
