why do they want to beat us so bad
I finally made a new account over there. GOOD GRIEF, BEEMS!
This part is laughable. K-State has done very well in the football department under Snyder, especially when contrasted with where they were before he arrived. I'm not discounting that. What I am sharply disagreeing with is the assertion that a coach would get the same recruits to Manhattan that he could get in Lawrence. If Snyder had come to KU and had the success he had early on, the recruiting would have taken off miles ahead of what he was left with at Manhattan.Taking out the factors that would have been the same in either case:Coaching Experience, Prestige, Conference Prestige, Chances to play for a championship, Playing Style (even Pro Prospects would likely be the same)That leaves things like: Campus Lifestyle, City around Campus, Academic Prestige, Facilities, Fan Base, maybe On-Campus Competition for attention matters to some?, Attractiveness of the Co-eds (I'm sure there's other small things that I'm not mentioning)Now, prior to the recent upgrades that KSU and KU made, I would argue that both schools facilities would likely be a wash. K-State has some pretty loyal fans, and the football players don't have to compete with other sports like basketball for attention, so they win that category, although, KU has shown that they will pack the stands for a successful football team, so it's not that big of a win for KSU.Campus lifestyle and Lawrence are obviously miles ahead of Manhattan and anyone who thinks differently hasn't been to both places (or isn't paying attention). Academic prestige is definitely in KU's favor, except for hopefully veterinarians and airplane mechanics, but let's be real, not a huge factor in most football player's choices. Also, attractiveness of the KU female student body is light years ahead of K-State's (sometimes the truth hurts).Anyways, all that rambling to point out that I don't believe LHC Bill Snyder with a similar level of early success continues to 'struggle' in recruiting if he's in Lawrence as opposed to Manhattan.
Luke's stock is rising as Winters continues to validate his greatness. Add Luke and Winters to my list! Also, EMAWBLAST! and Tobias!

Just about every single one is a category on the football game. Showing that his extensive knowledge of college football is based on a video game.
