I can't believe the amount of, what should be, embarrassing talking points and quotes that Chuck has been perfectly fine letting out.  I mean, that kid doesn't know crap about cleats and stuff.  Someone made that excuse for them, in front of them, and they are latching onto it like the idea of #DreamTeam2013.

KSucks won't do it that way. They don't like us. They know we're going to thrash them in basketball. They know they have a cripple in their sites and they are going to come out from the opening kick and run us out of the stadium. OBalls will let the pedal stay down because 1) we are a rival (their only one) and 2) a real one sided score (how 'bout 34-0) won't hurt their bowl placement as weak as it is now. Last night was an abomination. Get ready to receive a similar punishment in our own backyard.

That article was one long fantastic excuse.  Congrats on them winning a game.  Now when they lose, at least the paper thinks they're worth making excuses for.

Why spend money when ISU obviously had no issue with the playing surface.  :dunno:

If ISU left the playing surface like that so they would have an advantage, kudos to them.

No I think he meant maybe KU didn't have the equipment budget to buy the right cleats.  ISU played it perfectly.

That was great.  Basically called adidas crap, but also a good excuse to work 2008 Orange Bowl/Natty into the article.

I will say that watching parts of that game it did look like ku was running on ice whereas the ISU guys looked completely comfortable.

where have you been?  they lost their minds when we were #1 in BCS last season and America was trying to get us to go up to the sleeping dorm with them.
