Its Zenger. So far everything that he has done in the athletic department has led to the overall betterment of Kansas Athletics Inc.

1.) Getting the city to help cover the expenses of Rock Chalk Sports Park (paving the way for stadium renovations)
2.) Brokering the TWC deal to establish a national footprint for when realignment ultimately comes again
3.) Rallying up a group of donors to buyout Turner Gills contract (had Turner run more of a disciplined program where the students actually attended class he might still have his job)

The football team is down right now, but SZ knows what it takes to have a good football team and changes will come. Do you really expect someone that worked under LHC Bill Snyder, started a magazine called American Football Quarterly, and grew up working on a farm in Hays ******* Kansas to roll over and accept being the cause of a terrible football team?

Its normal to be frustrated right now, everyone is, even Dr. Zenger. Give it time though, changes will come in the offseason and with a new offensive coordinator being brought in to revamp our non existent offense, and our already stellar defense we should be in the running to win some games next year

Who the eff worries about ku basketball?  That program is so far ahead of ours, I thought everyone pretty much gave up.  I do not believe there was one, much less a table full, of old balls talking about ku basketball.   Maybe the ku guy ran across some special needs adults?

K-State fans thrive on their hatred of KU.  It's all they really have, honestly.  The university has zero team national championships in the history of its athletic department, while KU has one of the most prestigious basketball programs of all-time.  They are jealous and severely butthurt from constantly living in KU's shadow, and the Wiggins hype has just added more fuel to the fire.

Now that was pretty mean.

And I'm calling you out. I attended the West Virginia-KSU game with my brother and the crowd ERUPTED when it was announced Minny beat Nebraska. Nebraska has nothing to do with KSU anymore, but them losing was still celebrated. I guarantee you is likely the same for your school's rival. And no way in hell would KU get any cheers unless it was against a team KSU was battling with for a conference title or something similar.
