Why on earth would anyone use that SI article as a way to talk bad about EMAW in 2013?

KU just equaled K-State's longest conference losing streak of all time, AND THERE'S NO END IN SIGHT.

:Woohoo:

Yeah.

Yeah, so then I posted an article to show just how dumb that statement was.

I guess one of the nice things about it being 2013 is that you can keep an e-copy of or a link to that article on your laptop, tablet or smartphone and pull that thing up anytime it's relevant rather than having to carry a dirty old copy of the magazine around.

KU, the Futility U of the 2000's.

With KU's 24th straight conference game, it ties K-State's longest conference losing streak ever in history.

I knew they were really bad, but I hadn't realized they'd become the worst of all time in the conference. Frankly, it makes me feel a little territorial.

It's like KU is trying to beat all K-State's losing records/streaks just so Snyder's story is less inspiring when it's told from now on.

One of the phogets big talking points last year was that Kansas should only have one D1 program. They thought of course that should be them. They don't think it's fair they have to share resources. Basically not taking accountability for their awful athletic program. My point here is, give us your RB's and retire your program. We need all the resources going fwd and you're the worst in the biz.

If/when KU gets left out of the next alignment, we should still set up a rotating b-ball classic in KC and Wichita for them and the Shockers. Would be good for the state, IMO.

It was funny a couple pages back when Beems said "K-State was much worse than KU is now.  Like, probably ten times worse".

That was really funny .

charlie weis has obviously brought in the coaching and the talent, yet can't seem to deliver the wins.  what is it that's missing in lawrentucky?  why is it impossible to win in that town (for the home team)?

Pretty amazing to think that even when K-State was the worst of the worst in college football, we weren't as pathetic as KU is now.

Wow, what a hopeless football program.  Just a complete and total embarrassment.

K-State was much worse than KU is now.  Like, probably ten times worse.

You are staring 40 losses in 4 seasons right in the face...  :nono:

K-State had a total of four wins in five seasons at one point.  No comparison.  Sorry.

You're right... ku's futility is far worse by comparison because that happened in the days of 105 schollies when teams like NU and OU would hoard players that would've seen the field for lesser teams.  Those players, once hoarded, now create a far greater level of parity in college football since the scholarship limit was reduced to 85.  Thus, it's far more difficult to reach the elite status of the current Alabama or the futility of our red-headed little step brother to the east.

You really should learn a little bit more about football history before digging your own grave with such stupidity.
