ku football:  From the Orange Bowl and "Lew is Building a Monster" to 24 consecutive conference losses (and the one win in there was because of utter incompetence by the other coaching staff).

KU football will never be great, we all know that. the best part is KU is GREAT at basketball and Kstate doesn't excel at anything....and Kstate thinks they are good at football. "2013 Kstate football: First to Worst."

Then why are you on the football board?  You repeatedly brag about basketball on the football board.   Lets go ask Cheyenne Zulu how those financials look and see if he cares that ku football is selling 35,000 tickets a game (and that's being extremely generous).   There is no more money to be made off of ku basketball, ku basketball's financials have remained flat for a number of years now.   Before "revenue not allocated to a specific sport", ku's sports were literally tens of millions of dollars in the red on an operational basis in FY 2012, and once the TV revenue and conference share was added in, ku athletics still finished millions in the red in FY 2012.   

How can you win 3 conference championships and "excel at nothing"?  That's not even possible.

Lawrence is also the current home to the worst major college football program in America that's currently handing out 1000's of free tickets in hopes that people show up for games.   At this point ku football is surpassing Toilet Bowl era levels of ineptitude.

The women's track team lost money last year, and the year before, and the year before, and they'll continue to lose money forever.  That's why the NCAA National Championship Track Meet got 2 hours of cut up coverage on ESPN2, nobody gives a crap, with an "oh btw the ku women won, cut to commercial" at the end.  K-State baseball got 15x's the coverage on ESPN over the same time period.
