Even though we would only have a partial home-field advantage, I wish the game was at Camarohead since it would be easier to get to.  And since it would be a KU home game there, I could get tix cheap.  Will still enjoy watching on a big screen, but it's fun to go to the KU game in person.

A Dillon's in Arrowhead would replace the 1997 Fiesta Bowl as the largest crowd ever to cross state lines for a college football game. (if that is actually a thing). The place would be totally packed with Cat fans.

As an aside, I watched the game with some very nice KU people and as always my charming self got along with them famously  .

But they were very  at the end.  To the point, the K-State fans in the group felt very bad and we tempered our happiness out of respect.  Because K-State people are just good folks.

OK. I've held it in long enough. Daniels needs to ******** go. Now. He is responsible for every loss we've had this season'. I ******** hate players like him that think they're superstars when they're obviously not. He's just good enough to break everyone's heart, but his bs has everyone convinced he's better than he is.

 

We were the better team two years in a row. There is no talent difference between our rosters.

Find a coach who can beat them. Spend whatever it costs. Enough of this horse *****. Find someone who can put players in the position to succeed and not ******** run the kick off out on the 1.

   

If you lose 35 out of the 40 in my lifetime (or whatever the ***** it is) it‘s not the players.

My goodness. We do just enough to lose. Why would Daniel’s try to hurdle when there are three defenders there. Who in the hell fields a kick off at the one yard line. Who in the hell tries to run the ball with 9 guys in the box from your own one yard line. The whole world knows that blitzes are coming and we don’t have a hot read. Who drops an easy touchdown pass. I mean Skinner did not even have to reach for it. I have to come back to Daniel’s. Just slide and run the clock. If you have to punt, they have to drive the length of the field.

 

The sad part is I'm not even upset anymore. This year has pushed me to the point where I expect us to lose sadly.

4-28 in my time as a fan. 4 Thanksgivings I’ve been to with my family of KSU fans where I didn’t have to hear *****. 4 where we were the big brother in the state.

With respect, the writing is on the wall already. This was our most anticipated season in a generation and his team has found a new way every single week to lose games we should have won. It takes a special skill to pull that off. We literally have had the better team in probably 7/8 games we have played. The fact we are 2-6 speaks absolute volumes about the coaching.

 

So, I'm trying to think of everything that went wrong and make a list.

1. Skinner dropping a very easy TD. This on the player.
2. Catching the ball at the one yard line and going out of bounds. This is on both coaching and the player.
3. The missed PI resulting in an interception. Probably shouldn't have been thrown but this one's on the refs.
4. The hold on the JD run that brought a first down back to a 2nd and long. I believe this is what happened. This was on the refs that was a very poor holding call.
5. JD having a wtf I'm going to super hero this and try to jump past 4 defenders and fumble the ball. This is obviously on the player I don't understand how you even make that play there as JD.
6. A potential missed intentional grounding on Rhonda Rousey. This is kind of a grey area and I'm only including it because they called it on JD for a very similar play.
7. I missed adding this earlier but calling a slow developing run play when you're at your 1 yard line was an absolutely terrible call. This one is on the coaches.
8. JD not even attempting a throw on the final 4th down play. This one is on the player.
9. Not going for it on the 4th and 2 and while we're on this play running a wtf was that play on the 3rd and 2 before this is on coaching both.
10. The missed pat this one is on the player.
11. The play calling on the final drive was just abysmal and we as in the phog could have called better plays then what the coaches did. This is on coaching.

So, we have 5 mistakes on players with one of those being coaching as well.

We missed out on 8 points by players
2 by players and coaching
Who knows how many if the coaches called better plays in key situations.
At minimum 3 points from the refs

13 points in a 2 point loss we left on the field.

Death trap bleacher. Saw a tater almost fall to his death only to be saved by rolling several rows into some seated fans.

And the "beer garden" is a joke. What kind of football stadium doesn't serve booze throughout the stadium. They Make people say the pledge of allegiance before the game but they don't serve beer? Pretty unAmerican if you ask me.

If a tater ever gives you trash about our pending phase 2, just point and laugh at that erector set east side of theirs and know our stadium will soon be nicer. At least we'll have that.
