The wtf 10 game was fun

That was the ninja kick game, right?

Also, lol at KU's liberal use of dumb and cringe alternate uniform combos throughout the years.

The way I  remember it, he didn't just stand on the flag. The way I recall, he picked it up and tried to hide it. As if he were hoping the officials would forgot they threw it.

Correct... that game was such a shitshow (both ways)

Even though we would only have a partial home-field advantage, I wish the game was at Camarohead since it would be easier to get to.  And since it would be a KU home game there, I could get tix cheap.  Will still enjoy watching on a big screen, but it's fun to go to the KU game in person.

A Dillon's in Arrowhead would replace the 1997 Fiesta Bowl as the largest crowd ever to cross state lines for a college football game. (if that is actually a thing). The place would be totally packed with Cat fans.

Just gotta say this is such a great way to remember past Cats teams. I’d love to see this for even the last 20+ years including the games we lost.

Like seeing the unstoppable Klein sneak, Lockett returning TDs, and the Jake Waters RPO. So many team defining characteristics.

Their season is already a total failure, complete absence of pressure

Apparently zero pressure is still a bit too much pressure

I hope those feckless losers can suck it up against BYU, Buffs and Clones, but I have little optimism they can.

Also hilarious how many uniforms they've tried. If they ever win again, they're wearing that uniform combo as much as possible going forward.

Knowing this a family forum, I shall not post some of the Tweets from KU fans . . .

In summation: Very profane and very psychotic (for this non rivalry)

As an aside, I watched the game with some very nice KU people and as always my charming self got along with them famously  .

But they were very  :frown: :frown: at the end.  To the point, the K-State fans in the group felt very bad and we tempered our happiness out of respect.  Because K-State people are just good folks.

F this program. F THIS PROGRAM. Good luck to all you diehards. You guys are the best. I'm out on college sports, probably for good. I have no connection to KU other than my undergraduate degree. I just don't care anymore.

We may never beat KSU again in any of our lifetimes

Had it again, and just gave it to them. And now KSU fans get to walk out of another game knowing they should have lost but get to gloat.
You're dang right!

OK. I've held it in long enough. Daniels needs to ******** go. Now. He is responsible for every loss we've had this season'. I ******** hate players like him that think they're superstars when they're obviously not. He's just good enough to break everyone's heart, but his bs has everyone convinced he's better than he is.

We were the better team two years in a row. There is no talent difference between our rosters.

Why are our ******** players taking pictures with Avery Johnson?
They recognize greatness.

Find a coach who can beat them. Spend whatever it costs. Enough of this horse *****. Find someone who can put players in the position to succeed and not ******** run the kick off out on the 1.

If you lose 35 out of the 40 in my lifetime (or whatever the ***** it is) it‘s not the players.

My goodness. We do just enough to lose. Why would Daniel’s try to hurdle when there are three defenders there. Who in the hell fields a kick off at the one yard line. Who in the hell tries to run the ball with 9 guys in the box from your own one yard line. The whole world knows that blitzes are coming and we don’t have a hot read. Who drops an easy touchdown pass. I mean Skinner did not even have to reach for it. I have to come back to Daniel’s. Just slide and run the clock. If you have to punt, they have to drive the length of the field.

The sad part is I'm not even upset anymore. This year has pushed me to the point where I expect us to lose sadly.

With respect, the writing is on the wall already. This was our most anticipated season in a generation and his team has found a new way every single week to lose games we should have won. It takes a special skill to pull that off. We literally have had the better team in probably 7/8 games we have played. The fact we are 2-6 speaks absolute volumes about the coaching.
  :D

So, I'm trying to think of everything that went wrong and make a list.

1. Skinner dropping a very easy TD. This on the player.
2. Catching the ball at the one yard line and going out of bounds. This is on both coaching and the player.
3. The missed PI resulting in an interception. Probably shouldn't have been thrown but this one's on the refs.
4. The hold on the JD run that brought a first down back to a 2nd and long. I believe this is what happened. This was on the refs that was a very poor holding call.
5. JD having a wtf I'm going to super hero this and try to jump past 4 defenders and fumble the ball. This is obviously on the player I don't understand how you even make that play there as JD.
6. A potential missed intentional grounding on Rhonda Rousey. This is kind of a grey area and I'm only including it because they called it on JD for a very similar play.
7. I missed adding this earlier but calling a slow developing run play when you're at your 1 yard line was an absolutely terrible call. This one is on the coaches.
8. JD not even attempting a throw on the final 4th down play. This one is on the player.
9. Not going for it on the 4th and 2 and while we're on this play running a wtf was that play on the 3rd and 2 before this is on coaching both.
10. The missed pat this one is on the player.
11. The play calling on the final drive was just abysmal and we as in the phog could have called better plays then what the coaches did. This is on coaching.

So, we have 5 mistakes on players with one of those being coaching as well.

4 on coaching staff

2 on refs

We missed out on 8 points by players
2 by players and coaching
Who knows how many if the coaches called better plays in key situations.
At minimum 3 points from the refs

13 points in a 2 point loss we left on the field.

Rich AF given them swallowing their whistles on all the holds not called and that late hit on Avery not being called.

This is my favorite. If there was one shared certainty amongst the Froggers before the season is was that AJ was a run-only qb who would fail, and now they have to witness their own players act like Taylor Swift fanboys around him after losing once again to their arch-nonrivals.

But in all seriousness folks I think we (ksucatsu) lucked out that this game was not in the buzzsaw that is Raytown MO home of the fightin' Jayhawks of Raytown, MO.

We are on notice for next season, so, enjoy it while it lasts

Because that East side is a wasteland.

ZERO concessions in the upper deck.

Video board in the NE corner with burnt out pixels.

Death trap bleacher. Saw a tater almost fall to his death only to be saved by rolling several rows into some seated fans.

And the "beer garden" is a joke. What kind of football stadium doesn't serve booze throughout the stadium. They Make people say the pledge of allegiance before the game but they don't serve beer? Pretty unAmerican if you ask me.

If a tater ever gives you trash about our pending phase 2, just point and laugh at that erector set east side of theirs and know our stadium will soon be nicer. At least we'll have that.
