i actually kind of agree with that person

We're an absolute dog crap matchup for them. Stop the run and let the QB beat you. That noodle armed chubby kid will turn the ball over 3 times.
i’m telling you that sherron never left campus

my goodness, this reminds me of the infamous incident a few years ago when ku paid a konsultant to steal kutztown university’s font and logo, then rebranded it as “trajan”, and then threatened kutztown with legal action

https://www2.ljworld.com/news/2005/oct/15/clash_logos_rages/

it’s sad but there’s just nothing original, unique, or interesting about lawrentucky, kansas.

I hear the people in and around Kutztown that were children in those days still require counseling. When the IT like bird suited clowns came to town threatening everyone over a . . . Logo

Can someone post a pic of the REAL new stadium KU is building please?  These parody posts are amusing but this is over the top and not funny.
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

Progress as promised (as long as "progress" is defined as a half-built new stadium)

Also, I hadn't really bothered to notice, but there won't be a traditional press box/suite setup on this thing (meaning something that sits on top of the stands).

As it looks, this will only have suites/press box underneath the sideline side of the new portion and it looks like it'll only be two levels (maybe 3 - can't tell). If that's accurate - and it may not be - that's insanely idiotic because you're severely limiting yourself on primo seating, which is obviously far more valuable than pee-on seating and is by far the biggest driver of revenue.

Even lowly K-State has primo seating on all four sides of the stadium...

Will those seats in the corner have an obstructed view? Kinda looks like it.

Kinda think AI did a better job here...

"A image of a renovation of the university of kansas’ football stadium where there are weird vertical lights coming out from the top of the stadium, there is only premium/luxury box seats on one sideline of the stadium and the other half of the stadium is the current crappy stadium."

I don't recall this being mentioned, so enjoy: https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/41686314/college-football-bottom-10-alabama-kansas

Quote
It's the opening scene of "The Lion King." You know the one. When all the animals march toward Pride Rock, hooves, paws and wings assembling to the music of Elton John. Yes, the Circle of Life. And for the next two hours, clumsy little Simba can't get out of his own way, is banished, wanders the wilderness doing who knows what, his family believing he is gone forever, and then he returns.

It's the classic tale of the prodigal son returning. Like Tony Stark. Or Michael McDonald rejoining the Doobie Brothers. Or a Bottom 10 team that starts winning games and leaves our herd for greener bowl game pastures. Such as ... wait ... what's that the prophet simian is holding up from the tip of Pride Rock? Is it? Yes! It is!

A Kansas Nayhawk!

If the author is going to go to the trouble of listing 2 similar fictional characters he could have mentioned I dunno Hamlet?
