Sources expect over 55,000 Iowa State fans at Arrowhead when that game is played
I hadn't been over to the phog in a week or so, but checking in on them, they are legitimately upset that game is looking like it's going to be a neutral site game vs home field lol. We'll see how that plays out as the season goes on, but they play Iowa State right after us. If their QB is out at that point in the season, or if they've dropped two or three prior, that could very easily be a 50/50 crowd split.
I would fully expect 70/30 ISU if not more extreme.
Don't expect that, you'll be seriously let down. They'll have plenty of fans there, but there's no buzz with that game for them right now. They generally don't travel great for football.
Iowa State fans don't travel to Arrowhead??? I was there when we played them and they had filled half that stadium in '09 and '10.
I think you'll see between 35-40% ISU which definitely is not a home field advantage.

yeah, there were 30,000 fans at those games, tops. The paid attendance for 2009 was 40,000 and 38,000 in 2010. If they are having a good season, they might have 20,000 fans in Arrowhead, but I wouldn't bank on it. They frequently don't even sell out the visitor section when they play in Lawrence or Manhattan.
