lawrentucky shares a ton of similarities with raytown/independence but just doesn’t have immediate access to some of the amenities that come with living in jackson, county.

i bet, for a lot of these jayhawk students, going to a football game this fall will end up being a one way bus trip.

Police services for Arrowhead are (or at least used to be) provided from Van Brunt Station, whose holding cells should at least match the grime our kin from Lawrentucky are accustomed to.  They'll get used pretty heavily - if I'm a Missouri resident, the prospect of slamming some Jayhawks behind bars would have a certain appeal.

Well, the really crappy Van Brunt station has been closed, and I think East Patrol on Prospect will handle any unruly fans at KU games.  KCMO cops are all from Missouri, and Missourians absolutely, positively hate Lawrence, Kansas.  Read about the border wars, Jayhawkers, and Red Legs, and you'll understand why - Lawrence was a huge fencing operation for all of the stuff Jayhawkers and Red Legs stole during raids into Missouri.
