I don't know that Beaty would deserve the job going into year 6 but KU would definitely be better if they stayed with him instead of Miles.

Here's a thought. Maybe get yourself through this rough patch BEFORE you go and try to hire a coach.

i think chum1 is right here...like you have that friend that goes through a tough break up and is an absolute disaster and the first thing they want to do is try to find the next one? and everyone is like the hot mess express is leaving the station WOO WOO

unfortunately its hard to have that conversation you just kind of have to let them figure it out for themselves and just hope they don't ruin too many lives in the process

I agree with this but I think that they feel like having the interim stick around for a full season as a lame duck isn't good for raising money or selling tickets.

Yeah... I figured. But he'll probably be late for the plane when Harbaugh comes to pick him up so the whole thing will fall apart. It's sad really. I was really hoping this was the time for them to rise.
