Wow, Les has given them a serious confidence boost! Even though they haven't beat us in over a decade, we're apparently complete dog crap.

What Snyder did with KSU is turn a team that was thinking about dropping football completely, that was the worst major conference team in history, and make them respectable. His two Big XII titles does not seem like much but they were so god damn horrendous for their entire history they are still like 60 years from catching up to us and we aren't even historically average.

Man I wish we were more than just respectable.

Man, that stretch from 1902 to 1923 when we went 1-17 against KU is really relevant today.

That's how far back you have to go before KU holds the series advantage over K-State. In other words, you have to be 61 or older today in order for KU to have beaten K-State more times than K-State has beaten KU in your lifetime.

Not sure what kind of counting backwards methodology you are using but KU won most games up until the 90's. If you look at it by the decade K-state was able to get 3 wins tops. I get the argument, that KU fans are stuck in the past, but it would be more accurate if you were arguing that they would have to be a fan in the 70's or 80's.

Umm yeah vido did you forget that we won 22 out of the last 26 games?  That's a pretty good head start when you count backwards.  PurpleOil is right.

But that wasn't his argument. His argument was that you would have to go back to 1957 for KU to hold a statistical advantage. Nevermind that 1957 was in the middle of a 13 year span where KU won or tied and wasn't broken until 1969. If his argument was KU fans are stuck in the past, THAT would have been accurate.

I was watching the last K-State vs KU fball game with my daughter last fall and I said, "KU has never beaten the cats in your lifetime.  Pretty amazing right?  And she said "yeah but didn't they win every game against us during the presidency of Harry S. Truman?"

Your youngster has quite a sense of history.  I bet she went on to say that KU really whipped a lot of Kstate ass during the 60’s and 70’s as well.

I saw a poll where youngsters of today more easily recognize musics greatest long term hits over much of the modern music of today.  So it’s only matter of time before the current KU football players  start referencing Nolan Cromwell or David Jaynes often in interviews.

It makes sense when you realize a lot of KU football fans stopped the clock in the early 90s to become KU basketball/NU football combo fans.

Considering that and the peak of Adam Sandler's career through the mid/late nineties, and they're completely oblivious to KU football in that time frame.
