KU still going juco route
i think they had 8 visits this weekend and ALL of them were juco kids

Les is going for the quick route instead of coaching them up from freshman. He will use his success after 2 years to jump to a better program. KU will have risen from the bottom of the big 12 to lower-middle and will be able to attract a better coach than David Beaty.

This looks like Weis 2.0.

Is Les living in the Oread, or has he bought a house?

Heard a new house had just started to be constructed right next to The Outhouse.

He is 65 years old.  He's not looking to jump to a better program.  He is looking to get paid and go as long as he can at KU.  It was a good move for him because if he can get them to .500 he will look like a God.

If he can get them to .500 we may have to look into him actually being a god.

It seems the phog guys are making an officially licensed t-shirt to commemorate an apparently awesome flight tracker thread.

This was our single commit that had committed to Beaty. A 2-star at that. I have no inside info, but it's possible he was told that pursuing other oppies was in his best interest.

I mean, we wanted to make a coffee table book out of the cigars thread.

Who the eff is "we"? And besides, the wild ride of conference realignment is slightly bigger than flight tracking your next coach.

"But which school got the higher grade from ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg may be an eye-opener."

LMAO at anyone shocked that someone thinks that Les Miles is a doofus that jumped at a payday at 65 years old.

That Rittenberg article is shite. I've read like half dozen of these coaching grade articles and any one of them that doesn't ridicule the Hugh Freeze hire should be mocked then dismissed, Rittenberg gave Liberty an A.

How long until Tom "the breaker of coaches" Keegan is calling for poor Les' head on a pike?

I'm betting September 2020.

Seems like a good hire to me.  Their version of Huggins.

That's an awful comparison, read up on Hugh Freeze. I guess it's an A in the sense that he's perfect for Ian McCaw and those hypocrites at liberty.
