If they are going to put trust in him and keep him around, this is actually the right thing to do. Its not like firing a coach after 2/3 years is working out for them.

McCarney's record at ISU is pretty amazing. It really is something to aspire for Beatty.

I'm surprised they are giving him $100k per big12 win... that plus having to replace the goal posts once or maybe twice a year is going to get quite expensive for them!
