I went to a late night about 8 years ago or so, and it was very well produced, and felt like an elaborate celebration of African American culture.  As an attendee, I felt, for a time, like I was not in one the very whitest cities on earth.   They did an amazing job of creating an impression that there was a vibrant African American community in Lawrence.  I'm sure the attending recruits appreciated that.   It really was  impressive.

..then the lights came on at the end, and the crowd was 99% white.

This team is not close, and getting further away. Beaty is not the answer, but it's not his fault. From what I can tell, the strategy is to suck **** and embarrass the university as much as possible.  KSU pretty proud that they were able to get one of their own to come in and ruin the program.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm very proud of what we've been able to accomplish here.
