They love to talk about all the money their donors have, but it's never there for football. Not sure why they always assume someone is there to write a huge check to cure whatever it is that ails them.
(from ohio game)
I went up to lawrence for the game and it was an awesome day on the hill. Great weather, beer, coeds. $#@!ty football. Final score didn't show the beat down. I thought this would be a tight game that we could win and it wasn't even close.
We have a long way to go. We still don't have depth (not to mention quality depth) but we have to keep on this path. I want 3 wins next year and I think that can be done. Year 4 we have to get to 5 wins or we have to get to a new coach in the most diplomatic way possible as to not scare everyone off from the job.
I think 4 years of bad ball under one coach will show that we are willing to be patient with a new coach.
Obviously we can afford to pay the big bucks it will take. I would love to have a "if you build it they will come" situation with the stadium so the new coach can walk into facilities he can sell.
Hopefully things start to look a little better next year or maybe even against ISU this year?
