Guys, you know I'm not one to bask the U of Kansas but sometimes I think about the Anderson Family Football Complex and I get mad.  What were they thinking?  They put a light brown building at a weird angle all off to the side of the stadium.  It doesn't fit at all.  Has anyone been fired for this?

It matches their campus...because it doesn't match. KU has several nice looking buildings, but all with different architectural styles. There is no central theme or vision.

That's really a shame, K-State founder Isaac Goodenow designed the KU campus.  It's really poor taste on their part to muck up a good design.

Yep.  I refuse to believe that anyone who attended KU would be ignorant enough to want to move the stadium off campus.  The one thing Memorial Stadium has going for it is its campus location and its setting next to the hill and Potter Lake.  We also just built a $34 million football complex right next to it in 2008.  There's zero chance that they relocate, so I wish people would stop bringing it up. 

Man, I miss Beems.  I wonder if he'll ever come back.

Well, you know the Zulu is chomping on the bit to turn the old Field Event area into a parking lot and start charging some hefty fees to park there.   So in essence one entire side of the stadium is going to be a big parking lot.    Which is smart of course.   

I mean, that East side has always been a little trashy and barren, topped off by the above ground nuclear fall out shelter design of the East side of their stadium.

Well, you know the Zulu is chomping on the bit to turn the old Field Event area into a parking lot and start charging some hefty fees to park there.   So in essence one entire side of the stadium is going to be a big parking lot.    Which is smart of course.
