Probably a few reasons: 1) run into more KU fans than any other fan base and have social interactions with them where one can talk about college sports, such banter can range from friendly to mean-spirited 2) KU as an athletic dept has a lot if interesting story lines: a) currently a very very bad football program who makes somewhat humorous hires b) they have a dominant, nationally discussed basketball program which is making the shift from a 4 year program to a system of one and dones, 3) one can watch a game at their venues within a very short drive, in effect allowing a KSU fan to watch more games live in person.

It would be easy for one to label clams as a hater.  He is just so full of rage.  I bet his keyboard takes quite a bit of abuse.

It's gotten so bad that I don't even root against K-State. I used to root against them on the theory that it's hard for there to be two successful programs in Kansas, but now all I can muster is a shrug and a thought of, maybe they can keep a third or fourth SEC team out of the playoff if they win out. 

I don't know why, but I just love reading things like this.

Snyder & KSU are going to skull-f*** us again this year.  We just need to keep in mind that he's one day/week/month/year closer to being unable to coach (I'm fully convinced he'll be on the sideline until someone pulls the clipboard from his cold, dead hands).  The smug KSU fans who believe it's their school/fans/"program" that have lead to their success in football are in for a rude awakening when that guy is gone.  He's arguably the best college football coach of all time - and they think they aren't going to take a big step back when he's gone.  Snyder is the only thing that separates KSU from KU & Iowa State.

I think as KU fans grown in age they are looking back and reminiscing about the multiple times Snyder begged to become their coach and ISU KU turned him down multiple times, until he settled at KSU.  I think the finally realized they could have used Snyder as an assistant.

Does a loss at KU override the obvious cheating the refs have done against Paul?  I mean, up until now, Paul has the perfect out.  His boss put himself on live TV and cried about it.  Can same boss fire him for losing to the worst D1 college football program in the modern era? 

The game should be good in a very bad way, but the post game could be pretty great.

I like ISU by 10. Coach Bowen would have had the boys fired up for this one if it came earlier in the season, but I think he's lost all hope of keeping the job at this point.

First of all those ku helmets this last weekend looked damn spiffy.

While there's no doubt that Phil Bennett wanted to rub away the stench of giving up 99 points the previous two weekends, I just don't get what ku is trying to do on offense and that was an area I thought they'd improve.   ku's defense actually put the brakes on Baylor a few teams after being in a bad position.    Albeit I do wonder if teams don't start dialing deep into the playbook to give future opponents looks when they know they're likely going to win handily.
