If you watched any of that ISU-KU game last year, it was a conglomeration of hilarity and "burn it with fire", you could see ku sliding around all over the place and Chaz with a "anywhere but here" look on his face.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Too true, although I will be satisfying my appetite with food, my metaphysical thirst for KU can only be quenched by watching, always watching....

Apparently, already falling into ruins: http://www2.ljworld.com/news/2014/nov/06/city-monitoring-concrete-cracking-rock-chalk-park-/

“We’re aware of them, and basically we’re monitoring them and seeing where they go,” said Mark Hecker, the city’s assistant director of parks and recreation.

Sad to see what cutting corners due to lack of money will do to a project like this.

How the hell does a concrete sub "forget" to put in construction/isolation joints and then not get caught by the CQA/C person?  The Rock Chalks def. went with the low bidder.

Local resident concrete expert ljmhawk2 must've been on that pour.

News update: Concrete rough ridin' cracks!

In other news: there isn't any thing you can do about it but owners still always trip out about it.

If it was a joint issue, they could mostly resolve it by cutting in joints now.  I mean, it doesn't turn into diamond or titanium after they put those shitty red chairs on it or anything.

True story: When I went to Chicago with some buds we were wearing our K-State shirts and of course we got stopped by plenty of other K-State fans to talk about how great it is to be nationally relevant all the time and exchange high fives and stuff but anyway, we also got stopped by someone who said he had always liked Kansas State but, "and don't take offense to this" he says, and tells us how he always respected KU's program because they had a track around their football field and "that's pretty great, in this day and age. It's like they're saying 'we love and respect the Olympic sports too, not just American football'". Anyways, he said he didn't follow much college football but just loved what KU stood for by having the track around their field. It's so sad that they have lost their national recognition now all because they were embarrassed by big brother harassing them (out of a little bit of jealousy, if we're being honest).

I love seeing desperate sycophantic subtweets replies, but the guy who immediately asks about hoops is even better.

"Does Mason remind you of a player you never coached and possibly never heard of?"

I'd be very interested to see how the 7/14/28 day cylinder tests turned out. (Assuming they even took cylinders in the first place :ohno:) cracks, while unsightly, are not necessarily anything more than a cosmetic issue. But if those batches of concrete didn't pass compression test...yikes
