"Jim, I wish you would just lose, or quit or something,  so we can go back to KS and make way less money!"

-no wife ever

Yeah, because it's just so hard to survive on $3 million a year in Lawrence, KS.

Plus, his wife grew up in Olathe and her parents live there.

Hell, reports were that the 49'ers actually contemplated trading Jim Harbaugh to the Browns not that long ago.

I am sure there will be Michigan people who will want bygones to be bygones in regards to the comments that Jim H. made about their academics while he was at Stanford.    I just saw parts of an article about how many Michigan people are not only getting turned off by the losing in football, but the Michigan athletic department has gone from being very conservative with in venue advertising.  To making it almost like an arena football league setting advertising wise and an NFL stadium cost wise.

FWIW, I never ever listen to Mike and Mike, because as I've said before the NFL is for degenerates, but I happen to hear it today for 5 minutes today. Anyway, they said the Raiders have a chance of landing him because his wife wants to stay in the Bay Area.

Elaborate please, moron.

When are they doing their history awaits renovation on the east side of their stadium?   Seems like it should have started by now. Funding?

They need to renovate the entire dump, not just the east side. Too costly for KU.

610 was saying this morning that they know people and that wheels are turning on this thing and that there is smoke because there's some rough ridin' fire.  Which I'm sure means KU mailed Harbaugh (at the 49er's facility) a card that says:

In the worst day of your life, would you consider coaching the Kansas University Jayhawks?  Check yes or no.

Personally saw at least a dozen fist fights break out in an EXHIBITION game between Denver and Chicago...they were probably fighting over who was smelliest.

If Gill ends up being Ron Prince v2.0, I'll be the first to give you guys credit.  I just don't see what's not to like.  If you're really basing everything on his coaching record at Buffalo, then you don't understand how bad Buffalo was when Gill took over that program.

Also, you're a mouth breathing idiot if you think KU is going to hire another clown like Turner Gill.  KU is going to make a Bob Huggins type of hire with this next coach.  Book it.

Weis will force Old Balls into retirement again, just like Mangino did.  So blessed.

I compare the hiring of Charlie Weis to that of Jim Wooldridge.  Very similar coaches in all aspects.

Woolridge was certainly much better than Weis.

I could see a Harbaugh:Leavitt = Floyd:Wooldridge hire for the hawks and it would be a great hire for them.  Hell, Wool's .333 conference winning percentage would be like giving a starving man a steak for a program in this position.

As long as they are scoring more than 10 pts in the losses, yes.

False.  If a KU coach goes 2-6 in conference, that means he was either fired, resigned or died.

10. Kansas (2-3)

I was in the Sunflower State this past weekend covering the NASCAR event at the Kansas Speedway and slipped over to the Little Apple to see the Fighting Bill Snyders dismantle Texas Tech. On the way, I stopped in Lawrence to refuel as the Jayhawks' loss to West Virginia blared over the service station PA system. I went in to pay and the guy at the register, a big ESPNU watcher, lectured me on how "no one can possibly take your Bottom 10 seriously if you don't have KU in there, dude" and provided me with five minutes of data to prove his point, including the fact that the Jayhawks had fired Charlie Weis and that his Pa-Pa won't even go to games anymore. OK, Jake of the I-70 truck stop, you win. Because your team doesn't.

You can do this with the NFL every week, no surprise one of the dudes arrested in the assault has a face tattoo.

The in stadium experience is very trashy, but it is far and away the most popular sport on TV and nationwide. Pretty much everyone watches it and follows it. Degenerates and non-degenerates alike.

I'm usually blacked out at chiefs games because of how much I hate everyone around me. But since I'm blacked out I treat them like long-lost relatives.
