Looks like KU might have caught a bit fish!

Quote
Though Harbaugh has been adamant that none of it is true, it was reported this week the 49ers players were getting fed up with their coach, as well (Harbaugh called that report "a bunch of crap").

lol

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Which would be a worse move, the Raiders or KU?

Michigan is probably his worst move that will be on the table.

There's nothing to be scared of, it would be exciting.   I am fully on board that it shouldn't matter who ku has as their coach.   If K-State cannot get it's crap together without Snyder than it's solely a K-State problem.

Harbaugh would be a home-run hire for KU and one of the few things that could resurrect the program.  The biggest question is whether Harbaugh would want to rebuild a program that historically has not received support from alum and University.  Harbaugh would be going from a place that contends for a Super Bowl to the worst Power 5 team in the nation.  Brand new stadium to one that needs to be demolished.  Awesome new training facilities to Big 12 average training facilities.  Bay area to Lawrence, KS.  Mild weather to wait-30-minutes and it will change weather.  Wine country to hayseed country.  Fly-to city to fly-over city.

Happy wife, happy life though.  Would be great for Big 12 and state of KS.  Snyds and Harbaugh - TSC bro's (gpa/grankid maybe).
Kansas City Blue Barbecue fan.

The rot at KU goes way back.  During their most recent run of success, didn't Dez Briscoe get busted shoplifting at Walmart?  He didn't get kicked off the team, did he even get a suspension?

Quality programs deal with problems directly:

Rich Rod is a proven winner who failed hard at Michigan. I don't think there has ever been a proven winner who just couldn't hack it at KU.

IMO what's happened in the past at KU is immaterial to the Harbaugh decision.   I think the only real concern if you're a KU person is if Harbaugh is a little too brash for the KU admin.   They'll also be other good coaches interested in the job and they'll probably come a little cheaper.   I believe SF's OC has been with Harbaugh the whole time at SF and Stanford, does he come to KU?

So knowing that the KU Admin has fired the last 2 coaches both under 3 years into their tenure is immaterial?  If I was considering taking that job, I think that would be something that I would be talking with them about.

This is a good point. Harbaugh gets in his own way. He has managed to burn his relationships in San Francisco in a relatively short amount of time. I'm not sure Bernadette Gray Little will get along with him. Kansas went with the big name last time and look how that turned out. Maybe the big money KU boosters should just sit this one out and let Zenger get his guy.

I wouldn't take the job without a guaranteed contract, but both of those coaches were just historically bad. KU wants to win, and if the coach is a winner, he shouldn't have problems keeping his job.

Rich Rod hadn't proven crap and he ran a gimmick offense.  harbaugh could go to michigan which is a better school with more money, fans, prestige, academics in a better town with better facilities and recruiting and he could fail and still be a wanted commodity.  If he failed at ku which is a total train wreck in every sense of the english language his career would be done.

Please be smart.

The one thing about the Michigan job is all the whining and crying their fans are doing now will cease the moment Harbaugh starts winning and all the people moaning about the NFL price tag that Michigan has on everything related to attending the games will cease as well.    They'll be 106,000 people in the stands and the way the Big 10 is right now, Harbaugh could put them in Big 10 title contention pretty quickly and the Ohio State-Michigan game will likely return to being a national showcase football game very quickly.

Also, I believe the Big 10 Network goes out to bid again soon and there's rumors of Fox going all-in on the entire Big 10, and don't think for a second they wouldn't love to see Jim Harbaugh at Michigan.

But Harbaugh may want to take a lessor job that will still pay well and where they'll be less pressure.

Meow Meow . . . sucking is sucking, K-State fired Ron Prince 2.5 years in, come on dude.

How quickly do you think Harbaugh can turn Michigan around? This is probably a 2 win team he would be inheriting.

There were just in a bowl game last year, and play in a crap conference.  Good grief, it's still Michigan.

Do you think it has to do with Talent or coaching.    I think Michigan leans more towards coaching.   Since I live in a world of transplanted Rust Belters I hear plenty of bitching about how it's Hoke and his staff that are the real issue.
