My guess is he got dumped by an ex-lover who was totally emaw and he was totally in love w/ her. He hasn't gotten over it since. However, that movie plot seems too easy to read.

In one breath they'll remind you that they've got like a gazzillion bajillion dollars that they can tap into at any time to build any athletic facility they want.  In between half breaths they'll remind you that they dominate the KC market and have a substantial presence nationwide.   Then they'll take a big gulp of air and tell you that they'd be able to compete a lot better if K-State didn't exist and that K-State drags them down.

it's like, sometimes i just wish ku fans could enjoy their own team's success rather than cheer for K-State to lose, it's how they are tho, and nothing will ever change that.
