What a wonky stadium Kinnick is. Less of a monstrosity, but in the same hodgepodge vein as Memorial in Lincoln. The tiny sideline stands w/ giant endzone seating really comes through in the photos.

It's really steep on the sidelines and the concourse is really bad, not KU or Iowa State bad, but bad nonetheless.

Seems like one could pull a Duke's of Hazzard and get down to the field pretty easily from that street.

Yeah, if you really wanted to eff up the general lee. Field level is about halfway down the stadium from street level, would be about the same as driving right past LHC Bill Snyder's statue and under the luxury boxes right at the top of section 5 at BSFS. Their seats are a lot more steep so you wouldn't have to gas it, as much, to clear the seats to get onto the field.

You know, the more I visit other stadiums, the more I realize how great BSFS really is when compared to most others. Example, last week I was at the OSU game, and while the money T Boone gave them did some real wonders, you can still tell that stadium is very old. The walkways, the restrooms, the constantly changing angles of the seats, the switch from concrete to aluminum... it's not bad, but it's all just got an odd feeling to it. Things just aren't what they should be in this day and age. There's very few TV's on the concourse, and you don't hear a broadcast of either the TV or radio when on the concourse or in the restrooms like at our stadium. The bathrooms are small, although there are sufficient numbers of them, but several only have one entrance and exit, so you get traffic jams.

Tom, did you have to stand in line for 15 minutes to use the restroom? I attended the Wisconsin game there last year and the lines for the restroom were very long.

Tom, did you have to stand in line for 15 minutes to use the restroom? I attended the Wisconsin game there last year and the lines for the restroom were very long.

We were in the stadium plenty early to avoid lines.  Did notice they were backed up severely at half.  Able to last until after the game.
