Unbelievably good deal for Burns Mac!  All the revenue without the head ache of actually having to deliver a high profile project. Couldn’t have gone better for them.

yeah that is amazing. good for them but like, who is paying for that? dnr entire article

the absolute best projects for an engineer to work on are the ones where you get paid and then the project gets canceled before being built. this is even better than that! they got their entire fee without doing any work

when’s quinton going to have to answer to this?

The thing he'll need to answer the most is did he properly vet the guy. Else the idea of having a 3rd party guy is not particularly weird/requirement on many gov't jobs

The juice in this story, is so good

https://www.kansascity.com/news/politics-government/article271554162.html

I just came to post the same article.  How Charles Renner is still employed at Husch baffles the eff out of me.  What a very corrupt individual.  Good for Burns&Mac on getting their $$.  $62m!!

Everyone wondered how the hell Burns got pushed out and Edgemoore snuck in (even in front of AECOM), and now we know.

Royals need to cut ties with Husch for the downtown ballpark.  The relationship will get scrutinized and become a major distraction (and it is warranted).

That was honestly the biggest :surprised: of the whole juicy article outside the impetus of the article being the entire Charles Renner rough ridin' crap up thing. KCMO absolutely needs to part ways with Husch

Answer:  No.  But he should

New airport will open 2.28.  To be announced at 4 today.  It is really amazing and something for all of us to be proud of.

I have a flights 3 weeks and 1 week before the 28th. How awful is it going to be in the old airport that soon before the new one opens?

Hey Stone.  Will there be good BBQ available?  That and normal modern airport comforts/conveniences/cleanliness is all I really need to for it to be a success in my book.

Maybe you guys will get a Chik-fil-a that is not open 80% of the time you are either leaving or arriving like Wichita? :flush:

Big opportunity for chick-fil-gay here.

Given what kc's airport has been for decades and what kc'rs like about it, a good goal would be a scaled-for-size version of wichita's.

There was going to be one, it got cancelled because they hate gay people.

Being closed Sundays in a airport is also dumb  vendor to sign.
