I don't have strong feelings one way or the other, I just think the unwashed masses should be aware that they're paying for this thing so some rich guy can get richer without taking any risk.

Even when faced with irrefutable evidence of this truth, there are many idiots like Phil who refuse to educate themselves and insist in the delusion that the new Ramada and out of towners are footing the bill. Smh

i haven't heard it.  that said, i'm  not surprised to hear that slyin's propaganda machine continues to roll on full steam ahead, it's his modus operandi- ignore the will of the voters and spread lies about the proposals in any way possible until finally he finds a way to jam his agenda down the voters' throats.  some kcmo residents like phil and lib willingly play the role of baylor coed, others don't.

The will of the voters will be dnown in November...which btw is the first time they will be asked. Prior airport improvement votes have all passed.

I am completely for a new airport terminal... But to say Mayor James and certain council members aren't shady in some of their dealings with private entities and public projects is a naive and ignorant viewpoint to take considering all the things that have come to light in recent years.

Having said that, would I rather have a new airport terminal and streetcar than a completely squeaky clean municipal government? Begrudgingly yes, however, I do wish they were a little more on the up-and-up, transparent, and out in front of issues rather than reactionary or oblivious to criticism. I mean for f-sake, why did they have a massive pr/media/education campaign for the GO bond for months in advance, but to date have tripped all over themselves on the airport? So small-time and incompetent.

lol why ignore when slyin' polled registered voters and got his feelings hurt by their response?  was their voice not heard then?  obviously it didn't take long for slyin' to ignore/re-package the idea under the guise of a private financed pushed concept.  the only thing transparent about slyin' james is how corrupt he is.
