Whether that's due to weather/summer or the streetcar is hard to determine. Jusy my experience.or maybe just your brewery is getting word of mouth? im sure its a combination of many things and im sure the street car has benefited your sales in some factor, im just not sure the street car is worth the $ we spent on it.Which is why I think it is important to remember the entire city isn't paying for this... Downtown taxed itself. correction, 350 eligible voters levied a tax upon business owners unfortunate enough to do business in sly's tddBusinesses don't vote on taxes anywhere but you knew that. I don't hear any businesses complaining about their higher bills (outside of an air filter company)... They seem to realize the value they have gotten.

To be fair, 'Clams is kind of a weird Kansas Citian. He owns his turf, but hates Kansas City and wants to move to Cali. I mean yeah, Cali > KC, but we're no Tulsa Oklahoma either.

I don't hear any businesses complaining about their higher bills (outside of an air filter company)... They seem to realize the value they have gotten. business do vote on taxes, through the ownership of said business. and when the owners of these downtown businesses were allowed to vote, at the citywide vote, they resoundingly said no. so, sly came up with the tdd idea so he could exclude the dissenting votes. but you knew that.
I mean we literally have a downtown business owner on this blog saying he likes the streetcar and it has, in part, helped his business and 'clams just keeps yammering about how businesses hate the streetcar. It's truly daxian
I personally love this 'clams the best
