The northland is horrible. I mean, just horrible. It's like a bunch of ozark guys visited JoCo, liked the convenience of everything, decided to replicate it, but then just filled it up with a bunch of ozark ppl. Just horrible.

Shouldn't be where people who care about their kids have to decide between private/Academy Lafayette or leave. If I knew the answer to that, I'd run for god of the city or something.this is the only real motivating reason why we're putting our house on the market in the springIt's 90% of the reason that we moved to OP.Out of curiosity, what was the other 10%?Proximity to friends/family. More stuff for kids to do. Never really fell in love with the Northland (but was willing to stay if necessary).

If the airport was in a normal place I would never have stepped foot in the northland in my entire life

that chick I married is obsessed with some placed called Nell Hills. I think thats up north.
oh and golfed there once
Can we get a couple of things straight here first? A. Briar Cliff is not in the Northland. It's like 3 minutes away from downtown. B. That penguin looks lovely, cf3. Why in the world would you have a problem with that place? I'd still play there! C. Parkville is majestic and the best place to go putt putt.

Its just very far away. You have to cross a river to get there. I meant it felt like Iowa because it was so far away, just like Iowa.
i also would like to consider North Kansas City to be its own thing. like around Armour there are a couple good breweries and Chappell's and whatnot. but actual Kansas City (north), MO is gross
