Do you guys ever go to the peanut downtown? I mean, just the worst service in the world. Dirty plates sitting on top of kegs that are aligned the wall, but I can't stay away. Those wings and that blue chz.

You don't go to the 'nut for a white table cloth affair. You go to the 'nut for cheap keg beer and delish wings. The service walks a fine line between absolutely pathetic and charming. It's exactly what I want out of a place of this sort.
Well, yeah. Also, between the gay bartender who dishes his hot nights out with the fellas and the ape crap crazy bartender with piercings who has you take shots with him to the point of blacking out and him covering your tab, there's never a dull moment.

Anthony's feels more goodfellas-y than Garozzo's imo

It's a tradition for me on Sundays to walk down there for a bloody and some wings. I wish it could have been our tradition.  :frown:

Did you live in quality hill? Cause I feel like there's a clique of ppl who know each other downtown. Especially the ppl who go to the quality hill pool in the summer. There's some guy named "social" who's like a drunk monster with a whistle. He sits in the pool all day, blows a whistle and says "social!" which means drink and then yells at ppl to get out of the pool and go to the bathroom because they've been in the pool too long for not having to go to the bathroom. It's great. You eventually see all these ppl out at the same bars around town.

First time I went to Anthonys the waiter tells a table behind us that he obviously know that "John gotti loved that dish".

Get the jazz dip (most call it Italian butter in kc, not sure why they give it such a dumb name)

I have lived a block away for 11 years and probably been to the peanut 12 times...and I love that place. Not sure why I don't go more. Seems I always end up at quaff.

How many times do you think we've been at the quaff at the same time and didn't know it? Also, just knock on my window next time you go. I'm on the first level in the quality hill building to the right of the quaff.

:surprised: I'm usually still at work at that time, but I can be there in two shakes once I get off. I'm serious, you guys! Just knock on the window. Everyone else does. I hear drunks walking home all the time! Maybe some of them were you guys!  :surprised:

Yes. I thought right as when you're walking out of it. There's that little gap between the quaff and my building. I'm far left of the building on the ground level.  :peek:

No. I really don't know too many ppl there. Since we're on the first floor and right by the stairway, we don't see too many ppl unless they're letting their dogs out or smoking.

Is the building that has the balconies between your building and the pizza hut part of the quality hill group of rentals?
Please don't ban me, Mr. Dave.
