KCI:  Ridiculous loop for rental return then a circle back detour on bus to terminal.

Not one place open to grab a preflight Bloody Mary and some breakfast.

New terminal can’t get here soon enough.

Louisville upgraded the rental car experience this year. Drop off and pickup now all enclosed in lower level of terminal adjacent parking garage.

a huge airport with a remote rental facility where you have to wait for a shuttle sucks
a tiny airport where there is no avis preferred / budget fastbreak (or whatever) line bypass also sucks.
the medium size airport where you walk across the street to the parking garage, see your name on a sign, and walk directly to your car with the keys in it is bitb

Kci won't abandon the rental car facility completely but they are talking about putting some cars for elites in the garage and later putting in an APM to a new economy lot and rental car facility

I haven't seen the new rental setup in action. Hopefully they now let the elite levels bypass the counter. That crap is always a drag.

Uber

This is where I'm at. Every other options sucks. Termy is fine but usually more than RT Uber and even then it's annoying based on the horseshoe design of the terminal can make it an annoying walk if don't park in tje right spot.

If I do economy I usually just do the kci option. Had stuff stolen from my car while at air express.

Most people that go there don't have to deal with it, but the rental car facility in Las Vegas is a complete nightmare, awful.

Very bad. I used it once when we flew to Vegas vs Phoenix for a bowl game.

Uber can be less expensive than a rental in many cities after you add parking fees.

Risky now a days to rely on circle. That one specifically always seems full

I work across the highway from airport. They are getting ready to build a other 6k space lot here. Built one two years ago and just reopened after COVID. Looks like the Park and Ride expanding. Parking spot never full except Thanksgiving and Spring Break. New garage at airport. Does everyone think ridership going to triple with new terminal?

of course not but they are demolishing the circle lots, and the existing term B parking garage will be for employees. term C parking garage will remain up but not used for parking.
i have no idea what is going to happen with all the economy surface lots

If they do get the closer economy lot built I'm sure the current ones will be given up for redevelopment.
