Liberal leadership at it’s finest! SMGDH! It really is amazing the difference between Missouri and Kansas state lines.

I literally have no clue, the mayor of KC talks a lot though and went to HS with Nick Wright, so scene!

On saturday morning i went to the costco near main street and headed back to waldo/brookside via gillham.  I ussually take gillham to 45th to oak to make my way South of the plaza. Oak was closed south of 45rd. I then proceeded to try and figure out an alternate route.  It literally took me about 20 minutes to figure out a way out of the closed streets.  Total shitshow.  I must have seen about 25 cops devoted to shutting streets down in the area.  I initially thought there must have been some kind of race or something, but apparently not.  I got to the point where I was checking twitter/reddit because it was such a cluster...tons of cars having no idea where to go, but nothing.  my final guess was that there was a manhunt happening and the cops wanted to create a perimeter.

Man, downtown KC construction is a crap show right now. WOOF! Zero detour signs, all major highways closed, etc. Get your crap together!

Talking about the north loop closure this past weekend?  I shot down the plaza a couple times this weekend but my ubers took 71.

The future removal of the north loop permanently will need a lot of tweaks to the rest of the interstate loop for sure.

Pride was all weekend but the parade that closed the streets was Saturday.  Got caught in it too.  Cops definitely could have gotten out and helped traffic.

Yup! No warning signs either. Went to the River Market yesterday and had to take like a 30 minute detour. What a mess.

Wasn't there some comiccon event too this past weekend?

Yeah I think comicon was at Bartle.  There were any alerts on highway signs?  MoDot is so awesome!

There have been signs up for 3 weeks saying 70 would be shut down.

Certainly possible they didn't properly detour people on the day of the closure, but I drive down 35 through to 169 north of the river every day for work and there has been closure warnings on both for 3 weeks.

Sounds like some small town boys weren’t quite ready for big city life in the fast lane.
