my grandfather was born in schenectady, ny and went to union college and then albany law and then joined the army corp of engineers as an attorney for them and he basically spent his entire career going around and pissing off local townies about how they were going to damn up their river and back up the water and negotiating with old farmers who refused to leave and crap. he did that on the tuttle creek damn and stayed at the warhem hotel the whole time. then he later met my grandmother when he was based out of KC. so thank you army corp of engineer damns is basically what I'm saying.
