I've always wondered how long North Dakota will be able to continue using theirs.

How accurate are those large state maps out in western KS? Google maps still thinks that the random dirt ruts between sections are actual roads so when I plan out pheasant hunts I have to double check that a road actually exists.

The delorme is the most accurate map I’ve found. I can’t think of a time it has led me astray. I like poking around in obscure locations in KS. Doesn’t include phantom roads like google.

My dad has that Kansas map. He was part of a motorcycling group that would meet up and explore random Kansas roads called "Backroad Touring Kansas".

Unfortunate name, not sure if they've rebranded.

Benchmark makes a great atlas as well, but it looks like they only cover the west.

When are you coming to Utah, Sandstone?  Don’t forget to take pics for VQ thread.

Probably not soon enough. Really want to visit all the national parks there. We drove through there on the way back from Grand Canyon five years ago. Didn't budget enough time. I was most struck by the San Rafael Swell west of Green River. It is like a bizarre moonscape. The whole state is just a geologic wonderland.
