I checked out that dot off the coast of OR and it was playing a round of golf here in KC. No idea why the dot showed out there. Also some of the dots were just from layovers at airports (STL/OAK/DFW)

I had a dot in the exact same place! It was a music venue in Oakland. :Rusty:
Mine has the same, but it is a genesis health club in Shawnee (which I’ve never been to).  I apparently turned off location services in mid-2015.
:adios:

Like i never thought about minnesota or arizona having one metro dominate the way Chicago dominates Illinois but there you have it

i thought the opposite! there are like a million more towns in IL than MN or AZ, but chicagoland is just so enormous that it makes up for it.

also i didn't realize the KS suburbs of KC are larger than the Wichita metro, but it's like 900k vs 650k  :sdeek:

I just turned to a West Coast Australian spot at random and they were playing Men at Work.  I totally said, "I wonder if they will be playing Men at Work?"  LOL

Sri Lanka!  I once taught English as a Second Language to a man from Sri Lanka that served as an officer on a sub fighting the Tamil Tigers and was trying to improve his English because he was a manager at McDonalds.  Pretty sure he would be mad about this radio station, as it looks to be in a Tamil area, but I can't be for sure.

An excavation company huh...wonder what sort of subterranean wonderland he has built under the Octagon of Forest.

Trying to make out what it says on the Notice sign, something like The owners this property strongly support the us military and its mission .....Respect for the men and women ....serving...yada yada yada

Other sign is

LOVE YOUR COUNTRY FEAR YOUR GOVERNMENT. Anytime a member of the US military and/or the us government is allowed to abuse their power to deny us citizens the property rights guaranteed under the us constitution and the bill of rights. THE LOSS OF THESE RIGHTS BY ALL CITIZENS IS NOT FAR BEHIND.

My personal theory is that rich dude bought the land including the giant octagon and then the federal government was like, nah dude that was an old missile sight in the 50's and we can't let you on it even though you bought it. Sorry bro....And that just set the old rich dude off.
