Friends. The girlfriend is a vegetarian, which pretty much makes me a vegetarian (but I do enjoy the taste of a good burger). Recipe suggestos so I can start making myself like vegetables?

sweet potatoes and asparagus..  :lick:

sweet potatoes I diced up, drizzle with olive oil and for breakfast I'll put cinnamon on them.. but for dinner I will either just put rosemary on them or I will put garlic salt and basil on them. bake at 375 for an hour..

thank god you posted this.  i've been wanting to profess my love for tomatoes all thread long, but i was scared of the not-a-vegetable mafia.

when asparagus goes on sale for like a 1.88 a lb I get pretty giddy.. but I have to remember to just cook enough for that meal because they are awful as leftovers.

i hate to disagree, but sweet potatoes not only suck, they also taste bad and have a disappointing texture.

Here's a veggie pro-tip:
Fennel (the bulb)

throw that in a soup or stew for a great savory taste!

At like family christmas parties and stuff I love when their is a vegetable tray.  Most people will be snacking on chips and stuff but I love vegetable trays.  But then I get pretty bad gas usually.  I wonder what the science is behind that?  One of nature's mysteries I guess.

Hey Chingon! I love vegetable's too!

In fact I just got done eating some grilled Kale! Love any kind of green's but Kale is my favorite! I usually coat the kale in olive oil then add some lemon pepper seasoning or lemon juice at the end. In the winter I will throw them in a pot(Covered) and cook on low about 7 min or until they get half wilty. Cooked some on the grill tonight over medium heat, about 1 min each side.

Corn is awesome too! I keep mine in the husk and soak them in water for about 30 minutes then throw them on the grill for around 20 minutes. YUM YUM.

Its the chemicals in veggies. stomach leaves them alone and then the dudes in your gut love em and eat them and process them into stuff your lower GI can't handle well so you fart.
