I think cucumbers are my favorite. Especially in the summer when they're soaked in vinegar. I really like that. But I also like them raw.

What do I go to first at a veggie tray, you might ask? The answer to that question, my friend, is broccoli. Sometimes I say broccoli is my favorite vegetable but I think it's just my favorite cooked vegetable. (But I also like it raw!) So I think cucumbers are my favorite, since you can't really cook a cucumber (isn't that a saying or something?). (BUT MAN GREEN BEANS WITH ONION AND BACON (not a veggie)).

Also, centraltexascat, eat lots of bean dishes. There are a surprisingly high number of them that are tasty and easy on your budget!

I love olives, mainly black olives.  One time I drank the olive juice out of the can after I ate all the olives in one sitting.

My gf eats red onions plain sometimes. Like, I'll have a bowl of chopped red onions out while I'm cooking something, and she'll take a pinch and eat them by themselves.

I eat grilled red onions all the time. Olive oil + salt/Pepper + 3 min each side on a grill= YUMMY

me too.  started making all kinds of dips and chicken and pork chili's with them.  Love roasted Chili's on my burgers and hot dogs.

it's the same thing, michigancat.  you'll notice that in the authoritative quote below, it does not say that the resulting food is called a vegetable.

I've also started putting spinach in about everything I eat, and added Kale to my rotations.
