So what are we predicting will be the charges they press on this guy?

4 counts of first degree murder, most likely.

What about some federal terrorism charges? And what about all the people who were maimed but not killed?

Wonder if Treason is on the table. It may be a stretch but he was a US citizen.

His brother probably killed the police officer.  And you'd have to subtract the people killed by his brother's bomb, right?

And to top it off he believes in a higher power (in this case Allah) so he must be insane so he is incompetent to stand trial. Bet he goes free.

I think they would have to tie him to a specific group for that. I mean, if we start charging every muslim who commits a violent act in this country with treason, it's just about time to leave.

I don't think you have to subtract either of them, since the bombing was premeditated and carried out by both of them, and the officer would not have died had either of the brothers turned themselves in. Really, it doesn't even matter. A single count of murder is enough to get this guy the death penalty.

Sounds like they are doing that, so we just need to wait.

I don't know if it'll be enough in Massachusetts

Well, I would personally like to see him get life, but I would put the chances of that happening at about 0.00001%. The guy killed an 8 year old kid.

Yeah, I want to know every single detail about the motives, and then we can kill him.

Massachusetts doesn't have the death penalty. They'd have to get the federal charges to stick in order to kill him.

massachusetts won't really have any say in the matter.  they'll charge him with federal crimes and then it will be a federal case rather than a state case.  they can charge him with every single death/injury his brother caused as well because they all happened in the process of committing multiple felonies.

Still so wild. What if you were the d00d who opened your boat tarp and saw a bloody terrorist hiding inside? :sdeek:

I mean, he also killed his brother. So, you can tack that on.

And missed the cops but still drug his bro 30 feet before crashing and then taking and crashing a boat while on foot. I mean, it's like EVERY stereotype you've ever had about Chechen drivers.

I would be willing to pitch in some money to fund a completely separate trial where he just faces charges of killing his brother and has to relive every detail of that for a few days.

Nick Jonas as Djohar

Tony Danza as the Uncle

Cory Monteith (with a fake nose) as Tamerlan
