He meets with the VP and signs papers next Tuesday. He said he can't wait! It's been hard for him to fake it at work lately. He'll put in his two weeks from there and use up his vacation time. So May is the answer.

good call fanning. i actually interviewed with robert half during a brief period of time when i lived in colorado. they interviewed me like nine times and by the end decided that they didn't want to hire me which was about four interviews past when i had decided that i didn't want to work for them. i would not have been good at it and would not have like it. maybe you would have, but from what i could tell, people working there did not enjoy there job in any way whatsoever.

Yeah, I picked up that feel myself. This other situation seems a little more gratifying and a bit more cozy. It helps to know people who work there.

Got offered two jobs in the past couple of weeks that were more money, and for the first time in my life I understood picking a job for enjoyment over the paycheck. It felt good to say no to them knowing how much I enjoy my current job.

A good life lesson. I've done that a couple of times myself.

are you saying you were able to make that decision on your own without making a thread about it?
