We're going to make the NCAAs next year and shock the world.
Maybe shock a few of the BID team, but not the world.  ;)

13-5. Book it.
yes,  the league  will make  it  closer  to  this  than 10  and 8.

Every  upper  half  team  loses a more  than  we  do  and  nobody  is  bringing  back  an Angel  if Kabingo goes (and I  don't  see Kabongo  making  people  better or  playing d  like  Angel)

Self's  class  looks  good  and  they  should and  likely  will  win  the  league  but I  believe  we  compete  for  second  with ou, isu  and  maybe  osu  depending  on  who  leaves.

Angel, Shane and Gip will be fine.  Hopefully enough for a bubble seed.

Yep. 20-10, 10-8, 10 seed. Way early expectations/hope.

I think we could be better than that.  I think people are being a little too down right now, which is cool.  I'm down too.

Losing JO hurts on defense, but he was so up and down, it's hard to know exactly what will be lost on the aggregate.  Losing Tay will hurt, but hopefully Thomas comes in around Christmas and does well.

Losing Rodney hurts.  A lot.  But I'm hoping that Angel, Shane, and Gip improve enough to help negate some of that loss.

I think we'll be something like 23-8 with a 12-6/13-5.  Something just tells me oscar is going to give us a solid B+ performance through the conference season more often than not by just being what we were this year.  Low possessions, low turnovers, lots of jump shooting.  Not a ton of highs, but no real lows.

I think we can be the Wisconsin of the Big 12 in the sense that our slow, consistent style of play is going to do well in a league where teams are pretty up and down year after year.

JO didn't really contribute that much this year.  He's much better than he played this season.

He could have been better.  But if oscar didn't need him that much this year, he won't need him that much next year either.

I think oscar could have been more successful if he used jo more. And he was a major factor almost every game he cracked 20 minutes. he will be missed.

JO has all conference type potential.  oscar definitely did not take advantage.

Season   Team   Overall   Conference   Standing   Postseason
Kansas State Wildcats (Big 12 Conference) (2007–2012)
2007–08   Kansas State   21–12   10–6   3rd         NCAA 2nd Round
2008–09   Kansas State   22–12   9–7          T–4th   NIT 2nd Round
2009–10   Kansas State   29–8   11–5   T–2nd   NCAA Elite Eight
2010–11   Kansas State   23–11   10–6   T–3rd   NCAA 3rd Round

This should be the standard for EMAW hoops going forward.  Every four seasons we should have at one last high seed season, two middling and non-bubble type seasons, and  one bubblish/ possible NIt season is acceptable and reasonable.

We're two years into the second 4 seasons since we've been good again.

2011–12   Kansas State   22–11   10–8   5th           NCAA 3rd Round
2012–13   Kansas State   27–8   14–4   T-1st   NCAA Rd of 64

i was confident that Frank could keep up the pace.  i'm not as sold on oscar as a program steward.

if we can keep up this pace, or even the pace of the last seven seasons including Huggs' year here, KSU would be  one of the most respected programs in hoops.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I'm not confident we would have made the E8 again.

I think we should be a 6 seed in the tournament next year. Angel is a very special player and we will make the tournament the next 2 years.

protip: in the pros (even overseas) they call it the "playoffs."

I'm confident we would have had the potential. I mean, this year's team had the potential.

jo's  effort  vs  Florida  probably kept this  season  from  slipping  into  the 10  and 8 bubble  season that  was  predicted  by  our 5th   preseason  ranking.

I went and looked at a bunch of their recruiting classes.  I'm sticking with this comparison and riding it into the ground.

JO won us a couple of games down the stretch this year.

KU, ISU, OU, OSU, and Baylor all have the potential to sweep us next year. We should sweep TCU and Tech. WVU and Texas look like 1-1.

Best case, 10-8. Worst case, 5-13. Would that get oscar fired?
