Talked "Bud" on the "Lake Bae" into letting me be a deckhand and engineer on his boat for summer, and I have never even seen a seiner engine in my life. I mostly know gillnetters and trollers. Currently reading about engines like my livelihood depends on it, bc it does. I mean, check it out. Lake Bae was just for lols. It's the Lake Bay. We were just joking about the naming possibilities bc boats are often referred to or named after women. Also, yeah "Bud," is not his given name. This boat packs 100 lbs. I said, "Bud, I gotta make some money, can't be on that program from last summer when ppl went home with almost nothing." He says, "Pvegs, I don't go up to Alaska unless I'm gonna make money." That's a pretty bad ass thing to say.

I have this list that I make checkmarks on and sometimes a person is thinking they are being helpful by marking them for me, but their checkmark basically looks like a U and it drives me crazy.
