My grandpa is 85 and an emeritus professor. In December my sister graduated and they let him give her her diploma. When it came time for my sister they announced his name, his college, and that he was an emeritus professor presenting his granddaughter with her diploma. He's still in decent shape, but moves a little slow because he's 85. They forgot to give him a heads up, so it took him 10 seconds to get up there. During that time all of faculty from my sister's college and on the stage gave him a pretty good applause with a few of them standing up. The crowd gave him a decent applause as well. He walked in/out with the procession, so afterwards many of them, including some provost/dean level people, came up to him to shake his hand and told him it was cool he was able to do that at his age. It's one of the top-5 coolest things I've ever seen.

Sorry to go off on the grandpa tangent in this thread.

Great stuff. My gpa is 91 and is an emeritus prof too. Still teaches 1 class per year.

I threw a no-look pass on a rebound between two people once, to my gym bball teacher at ku who was 6'9. Who then ruined the assist of my life by missing the chipshot. It was really a sick pass, if it happened in a college game it'd get replayed.
