Streb is in the field this week at the Jack Nicklaus hosted Memorial Tournament, held annually at Muirfield Village GC in Dublin, OH. He will be competing against some of the top players in the world including 7 of the top 10 in the Official World Golf Rankings. This will be Streb's first appearance at the Memorial, he tees off at 138 pm Thursday with playing partners Cameron Tringale and Justin Hicks.

Streb currently ranks 74th on the FedexCup points list and has made $893,003 in the 9 tournaments he has made the cut in this year. Hopefully he can get that number up over a mill after this week.

Cats.

Streb is -1 for the tournament thru 4 holes in his second round, currently t31. Mr. Streb is in for a long couple of days if he makes the cut. On Monday, he will be trying to qualify for the US Open thru sectional qualifying being held at Colonial Country Club. The format for sectional qualifying is 36 holes of stroke play in one day. Cats

Another former KState Golfer, Joseph Ida, is also in sectional qualifying at Colonial Country Club. He's currently playing professionally on the Adams Pro Golf Tour.

Streb is currently T5, -8, four shots back of Bubba Watson. He's the fourth to last group off tomorrow, playing with Billy Horschel. Cats

Mr. Streb had a rough final round on Sunday shooting a +4, 72 finishing t28, banking $38,646.66 and 39 FedExCup points.

On Monday he attempted to qualify for the US Open but finished one shot outside the cut line.

This week he's playing in Memphis, TN at the FedEx St. Jude Classic. He finished t39 in the tournament last year.

Since he did not make it into the US Open, there is a chance Streb will play in the Watson Challenge being held at Loch Lloyd Country Club on June 13-15th. Tom Watson started this tournament years ago to find the best golfer in Kansas City. If you're interested in attending, here's the info http://www.kansascitygolfer.org/thewatsonchallenge/overview/
I've caddied a few times in the tournament, there's some great golf being played, and there should be several KSU'ers competing for the $10k first place prize. And, it's always fun to watch Mr. Watson play. Cats.

I like Woodland a lot, and Chris Thompson is a great story!

Streb is 80/1 to win this week. Might have to show him some love!

I have some buds who are volunteering next week. I think that's a pretty sweet deal. Get assigned in the morning, and then free range the rest of the day.

It's a great way to watch. $200 for the uniform gets you a week long pass plus a couple tickets for friends. This will be my fourth event at Valhalla.

Awesome. So, what does the player driver job entail? Are you a fore caddie or actually driving players around or something?

My group is driving players from their hotels to course and back. There's a separate group that does the golf cart thing.

Another cut made for Streb, he'll need to go real low to catch Ben Crane, but another top 25 is definitely within reach.

It looks like Streb accepted the invite to play in the Watson Challenge. He tees off Friday at 9 am. You can follow scores here http://www.kansascitygolfer.org/thewatsonchallenge/2013-watson-challenge-results/ or go watch them play at Loch Lloyd Country Club.

I am very excited for the US Open this week you guys!!

After shooting a final round 64 (-8) to win the Watson Challenge on Sunday, Streb is in action again this week at the Traveler's Championship. He's currently -1 thru 6 holes in the first round.

Streb donated the $10k first place check from the Watson to the First Tee of KC. He did it for the kids guys

Cats!

Top 125 in FedEx Cup standings retain their Tour card, right? So if Streb keeps steady he's in good shape for next season.
