Some Adidas promotional photos surfaced online on Thursday, featuring a Kansas version of the jersey along with others from Cincinnati, Notre Dame, Baylor, UCLA and Louisville. (KU has a licensing contract with the shoe company.)

But a Kansas official said Thursday the final decision on the jerseys rests with the school — and no decision had been made as of Thursday.

"There's been some talk internally," said associate athletic director Jim Marchiony. "But we haven't made a final determination."

Thanks for Nipping this in the Bud Beems, but it sounds like the ku administration has a stick way far up their ass.

Sad.

Why?  Because they didn't sign a contract that allowed adidas to put us in whatever uniforms they want to?

Press Conf w/ @CoachBillSelf: The uniforms "Won't go any further past the Big 12 tournament…" #kubball

according to Coach Self. He said "sometimes you have to be a team player."

sounds exactly like thats what they did beems

The final decision rests with KU.  If they go with the uniforms, it's simply because they chose to do so.

And by the way, I've heard rumors that KU is going to go Nike next year once our adidas contract is done.

No, it's saying that KU decided to participate in the crappy uniform thing with the other adidas schools.

Why would a school with the stature of ku voluntarily participate in anything that is known as crappy?

The only reason big bro is an adidas school is because adidas wanted big bro's nuts really bad and decided to pay big bro $30+ million to wear their shitty uniforms.  lil bro's contract with Nike is laughable compared to big bro.

Adida's did not hand ku $30 million in cash.   You can play all kinds of fun with numbers on those deals, and Lew Perkins did, because that's what Lew did best, and the reason why he's sitting at home smoking big cigars spending ku's money.

and in business sometimes people (or in this case a school) will do what they are told by the people paying the money
