I missed "parallel" in both the 5th and 6th grade spelling bee. Never could remember where the double L was.

when little j-dub was like 10 or so, he was folding blankets in the laundry room (floor was cement, old farmhouse..). and j-dub's little 5 yr old bro was standing on the edge of one of the blankets. little j-dub pulled the blanket out from under little bro's feet real fast on purpose. he landed right on the back of his head. had to go to the er and get stitches.  :frown: when questioned by his parents, little j-dub lied and said he didn't know little bro was standing on the blanket.  :frown:

In 1988, a young CFoD was country cruising with a case of beer and a couple of buddies. We decided to start harassing truckers on the CB radio. Talked to several who had very little sense of humor. Finally, one trucker thought we were hilarious. To him, it sounded like we were having a good time. Of course we were and we offered to bring him a beer so he could have a good time as well. Turns out that nice trucker, wasn't a trucker. Also turns out, if you ask someone if they're a cop they DON'T have to tell you that they're a cop.

Cargo shorts just seem inefficient to me. I mean, what the eff do you need all those goddamn pockets for? I have 3 things in my pockets at all times- phone, keys and wallet. If I need to carry something else in my pockets, such as a pack of gum or some chap stick, I still have sufficient room to fit those in one of the 3 pockets (nothing ever in the back left, ever).

It comes down to baggy, heavy, poorly fitting shorts versus well fitting, comfortable, and always stylish shorts.

If standard khaki shorts were more expensive than cargo shorts, that'd be one thing. But they're like, 15 bucks at target or something.

Non cargo khaki shorts look odd to me.  Too preppy, same category as boat shoes.

On the flipside though, cargo pants look odd and chinos are great.

I've got a couple of old pairs of cargo shorts that I keep around just to go fishing in.

Young Pete and LSOC trolled the entire Manhattan CB community with a handheld I had bought for about 3 weeks until it got old.

Left my iPad on a flight  :curse:

Also I lost about a gallon of sweat during our hour long holding pattern around the KC storm last night and the flight attendent told me I looked like I saw a ghost. Not shameful enough? Well I was sitting next to a smokin hot filly who was not impressed with my profuse sweating.

My stomach rumbled loud enough for the entire class to hear about 8-9 times during the test I took this morning.
