A lot of dumbasses in this thread that are within driving distance, calling out other dumbasses for not showing up.

no. denied. calling out the students who live on campus is a different.

Trying to figure out which was worse: The unbearably horrible officiating, or the pathetic showing by the students. Both completely dampened what was otherwise a fantastic performance by Art and the Angels.

the students don't want to go to the game.  either some one in K-State marketing is dropping the ball, or there are too many students seats.  the team is doing great.

the students just don't want to go.

"Calling out" "students" is rough ridin' dumb. There are always going to be students that don't care. There will always  be students that do. If they are posting on here, I'm guessing those are the students who care.

They aren't just one gigantic body who transport to the game together.

Not the biggest Currie fan, but selling GA tickets for midweek games for next year was a smart thing to do. Hopefully he keeps doing smart things.

he may suck but he doesn't this season.  the product on the floor isn't (or shouldn't be) why they're not showing up.

This is not one of those intentionally pompous thoughts, but maybe students are tired of watching us blow people out?  Maybe they just think "meh, we'll rough ridin' kill them. I'll catch the first half on ESPN and then go study for my Finance 450 test".

Just occurred to me:  The higher your percentage enrollment of hayseed chicken fuckers, the lower percentage of the student body that appreciates good college basketball.  Maybe we can combat this by giving away free chewing tobacco.

Brah, did one of those fellas steal your girlfriend? Why the hate? Pretty sure a lot of them show up, living in a community when High school football and basketball are the highlights remain in college as well

students shouldn't have 4000+ seats. That's just a fact. yeah its fun when we fill it, but the excitement is not there and probably won't be for a very long time. If we have a normal sized student section of 2000 or so its packed every game. Fact of the matter is the fence sitting students won't show up to see us play a .500 team at 8 o clock the week teachers are pounding out their first tests of the semester. The AD shouldn't allow SGA a vote to renew the agreement to have the certain amount of seats when the current one is up in 3 years.
