Was it full against Baylor? Dumb, boring discussion either way.

students shouldn't have 4000+ seats. That's just a fact. yeah its fun when we fill it, but the excitement is not there and probably won't be for a very long time. If we have a normal sized student section of 2000 or so its packed every game. Fact of the matter is the fence sitting students won't show up to see us play a .500 team at 8 o clock the week teachers are pounding out their first tests of the semester. The AD shouldn't allow SGA a vote to renew the agreement to have the certain amount of seats when the current one is up in 3 years.

4000 would be perfect, right now it's at 6000.

To think, the arena is just a short 10 minute walk from anywhere on campus.  Feel like I should've passed hoards of students walking to the game.  But I didn't.  Oh well, maybe when basketball season is played during the summer.

There seems to be a belief that people would fill those seats if only the students did not have those seats.

The Christmas Break townie crowds can be quite annoying. Although I always try to welcome them, I get tired of their kids running wild and their penchant for changing their kids' diapers in the stands.

Less tickets is the obvious answer. That whole tarp / end needs fixed. Even full it looks like crap and the band setup makes it look empty. Pretty strange to look over there tonight and see 2 whole sections empty.

I can understand not getting up for this game but JFC...we need to keep our angriness up for our player's sake.  If none of the students want to go I'll be more than happy to drive the 2 and a half hours to get angered up and at least fly a Puerto Rican flag.  Old balls here but you students need to recognize how lucky you have it right now

Maybe the band is the issue, I wouldn't want to sit behind those smelly losers either.

Maybe you guys should have actual seats throughout your arena instead of cheap bleacher seating... I mean, it looks worse than the Jack Trice South Endzone.

the problem is that oscar is a has-been and people don't get behind second chance stories like they do for charismatic underdogs unless the person had a spectacular meltdown during their first chance (Josh Hamilton, Tiger Woods, Ray Lewis).  so unless I hear about some slutiness, homicide, or heroin addiction, the oscar Weber Show isn't compelling enough for me to be at every game.

Nope true seat "capacity" is 4000 and they let 4500 in before they turn students away

Really, making the student section look like Bennettville was probably the best way to greet Huggins. I imagine that hurt him more than any amount of booing could have.
