Not sure where this goes but XC fans will appreciate this. Graham Blanks from Harvard wins the NCAAs. The runner who got 2nd from New Mexico ran the final 5K of the 10K race with just one shoe after losing a shoe in a scuffle with some other runners. It was about 35 degrees on the course. People are amazing. I didn't see any KSU Cats in the race.

Good looking class for us... lots of international kids + impact transfers + some Kansas kids.

Looks like they're going for jumps, multis and middle distance, which I think is a good formula for the program's success.

Went to the meet yesterday. Enjoyed the crap out of it. I like all the quirky distances they have for indoor meets: 60M, 200M, 400M, 600yds, 800M, 1000M, 1mile.

Track Cats snubbed the KU Relays and went out to Oregon's elite Hayward Field for the weekend. Boss move.

There are an amazing number of elite high jumpers who have come from Kansas. Alan Hanna from Maize just jumped 7' 1" at the KU Relays last weekend. Pretty sure he is signed with the Cats for next year.

Do you know why Kansas has so many elite jumpers?

Most of them spent their youth climbing on tractors, which simulates the high jump form in many ways.
