"Thanksgiving is for real Americans not Indians. We founded this Christian nation. Why if it wasn’t for the God-fearing pilgrims, the natives would still be running around in loin cloths shooting at things with their arrows. The gracious host tried to save her by stating, “Surely, you’re aware that the Indians were the native population of this country and were driven from their homes by the European settlers. This further incited Palin and her rant continued, “I’ll tell ya what I know. I know that these tribes do a lot of whining. I mean they got special rights up the wazzoo. They have those casinos all over the place. Seems to me they got a great deal. If they would just put down the bottle and whatever they’re smoking in those peace pipes and get a job like the rest of us, they’d be alright. I see it all the time in Alaska with the Inuit. They just don’t want to join the rest of us. They’re still hunting whale for gosh sake.”

So fast food workers really think they are worth $15/hr? That is laughable at best, maybe if they want to make more money, they should get an education or find a higher paying job. Let's look at the big picture as well, say you move wages to $15/hr, then what about those people who don't work in fast food, are they going to be the next ones demanding higher wages? Will people leave there jobs and run to McDonalds or Wendy's to apply for these "high" paying jobs? Is the consumer going to be willing to pay say an additional lets say $5 or more on top of a meal already costing $6-8, making the total $13 or more for a hamburger and fries? Get real people. Unions do nothing but drive up the cost of goods, and artificially inflate wages through bully tactics, and in the end hurt the consumer. Let's let the free market determine what someone should be paid, not some Union or government bureaucrat.
There are very few times I like to share my strongly viewed opinion about things on facebook but this is just one of those times. Number 1 Unions can kiss my ass, of course they are going to back the restaurant workers because in the end that just makes more money for the Union bosses. Now to the main point, really these "Fast Food" workers think they deserve $15 an hour????? You have to be kidding me. Complaining that you are only getting 20 to 25 hours a week on $8.00 an hour, give me a break its called get a second job and a third job if you have to. Based on my philosophy of a 60hr work week, what the hell are you doing with the other 40hrs of precious money making hours? I used to do cemetery work, digging graves and hauling stones around in the heat for $7.50 an hour to pay for part of my school and living. I didn't complain, I was just happy to have a job and I worked hard at it. So to all of you burger flippers and Wal-Mart workers give me a break, next time you want to cry about how hard it is look around you. No wonder immigrants come to this country for opportunity, because that is exactly what they get an opportunity to capitalized on our lazy "entitled thinking" American asses. So buck up work hard and make something of yourself. (Mic drop and im out)
